Morning everyone. I have looked at alot of reports including the NTSB on home builts and KR's and I found that most accidents could have been avoided. alot of people get so hung up in flying that they don't do a good preflight or a post flight, yes I said post flight.One thing the military aviation teaches is things go wrong and in the air is not the time to find out. Don't get in a routine,one time after flying check flight controls, next time landing gear, prop ( no fun intended Mark). We build these machine's with pride, at lest I do but we make mistake's and anything we build will and can brake. Out of all KR's I think Mark's plane is best because he can remove the turtle deck which make it easy to inspect flight control's and ect.Post flight is great as you find problem's and can fix them, preflight so you are sure your safe. Some pilot's want to fly so bad they say I will fix it when I get back, problem is sometime's they don't come back,get the point. KR's are very safe aircraft if well mantained so let's build, let's fly and be safe don't take chance's.
