You will be doing a round cowl as well, right? Your rendition looks a bit 
more exciting than the original. On my last plane I painted it grey, drab 
military naval grey to no ill affect. That plane was done 100% West System 
Epoxy. Get their manual, it's free from Wicks. Keep at it, DO NOT LISTEN to 
the NAY-Sayers!!
