The archives and the old newsletters are full of this stuff, and like the
old retractable gear, was a primary topic of discussion and ideas. The
retract problems were solved by getting rid of it. The plane is responsive,
and that is all there is to it. I can tell you, however, having flown one
with center stick and one with dual stick, that the dual stick is much
easier for controlling the pilot inputs.

If you want to change this characteristic of the KR, you are probably going
to have to turn it into a different plane. The RV is also a very responsive
plane, so why do you not continually hear about its responsiveness in the
light of being a problem???

Who knows?

would it be possible to make it control more like a trainer and then
transition the controls to a sportier version later as the pilot gained
experience in the craft?
