Well if you search the archives for something FROM somebody, the first criteria I'd use would be their email address! Some people on this list have a difficult time keeping up with email addresses, so in that case they'd be wise to use some part of the person's name and sift through the many hits until the right one comes up. If you search using some completely unrelated word like "Rumpelstiltskin" or even "buffalo", you may never find a hit from a given person. This entire subject is what I meant by "spreading disinformation". And for future reference, I don't run the KRnet archive, and have no control over it other than I send a contribution every few years to the aviation-oriented guy that does run it...
