My Great Plains 2180 has 774 hours on the bottom and 484 hours on the top and has proven very durable, smooth and completely free of hassles. No leaks. No problems. A valve spring recently broke. Two actually, it turns out. Pretty rare event. I'm replacing with German springs - the ones that broke were without doubt Chinese. EMPI is Chinese. Most everything is Chinese, so choose parts carefully when doing your top overhauls.
