Pardon my error, but It was not the Dzus fastener I was thinking of , but more a machine screw / nutplate and collar assembly that I remember being used on the F4C, but it's been LONG time since I was on the flightline at Edwards AFB, so its hard to recall exactly. I'll keep looking for the correct fastener, but it would be machine screws and nutplates holding in any removable panels I would choose to install. And with my luck, the first time I mounted the gas tanks with no way to get to them easily, the things would leak like a sieve, regardless of how much I tested them before.
