The reason I didn't respond to this post originally is because my aileron control system is completely different from what's shown in the plans, although the end result is still roughly the same kind of travel up and down. My bellcranks to have differential built in, and they are Frise ailerons as well, which yields what turned out to be perfect turns with the ball centered, almost no matter the speed or angle. I only fool around with the rudder on takeoffs and landings, so I'd call it a great (if not lucky) success. There's a quick glimpse of my aileron bellcrank at http://home.hiwaay.net/~langford/99062756.jpg , which is part of the dual stick page at http://home.hiwaay.net/~langford/kcontrol.html . I think there may be more details on my outer wing page, but nothing very detailed. These ailerons are quite sufficient for anything from landing in crosswinds, to rolls, to changing directions 180 degrees in a matter of seconds at cruise speed.
