Hi Guys, I'm tyring to sort out aileron travel. In the construction manual there is a dwg of the aileron bell crank.
Also in the manual it gives a list of control system travel. The travel of the aileron is supposed to be + 20 -10 but there seems to be a conflict between the limits & what you can achieve. Also in an early newsletter # 22 it gives a limit of 1 1/2" up & 3/4" down measured at the inboard end of the aileron. This measurement gives you approx 1/2 of what the manual states. This is approx what the bell crank will give you, not the limits given in the manual. What have others found & how have they achieved it. Many thanks Robin.
