It is nice to have someone share a passion, but from personal experience the sharing part is rare (maybe it is just me). I have run hot motorcycles (KZ750 very hot; 0 - 60 in 2.7 secs, Harleys and so on), cars ('69 Camaro [big Block 11 second 1/4's], 69 GTX [very street in the 12's], currently '96 Firebird formula), and now I am going for the KR. NO ONE really wants to (share) fly in the plane with me. Mark L's daughter is doing the deed because she trusts "dad": when I told my 15 year old daughter that I could get the car and the plane in my garage because the "wings came off" her response was 'no way am I flying in that'.
I loved the night fire exercise with the M-16 during training in 1971.. go figure: if you want to fly a 900 pound airplane at 18o mph... Some people just have a different attitude about life I guess Bought KR-2 project; I'm building in my living room (divorce has its' advantages) Mark W N952MW (res) -----Original Message----- From: krnet-boun...@mylist.net [mailto:krnet-boun...@mylist.net] On Behalf Of Dave Arbogast, CISSP Sent: Wednesday, February 18, 2009 8:31 PM To: KRnet Subject: Re: KR> KR2 give-away, almost Yeah you could say so.. :-) When I bought the plans, I was going to build a KR2-S, and an A&P gave me this project I just sold.... when I sat in it, I realized I'd have to cut the boat and make it bigger if I was to ever fly with a passenger larger than a puppy. /09 18:01:00
