I have noticed that the comfort zone for "netters" seems to be higher here than on the new (albeit better) forum. I asked this there two days ago and have had no response, so I'll try here. (Hell, maybe you are all flying!)
My subject was Dihedral, where is better. I phrased it that way to try to spark your curiosity. I am already going to add 6" per side at the main spars (plans coming), and I was interested if anyone had applied the dihedral at the main spars as opposed to at the wing, and if so, what the results were. I would like to hear from someone who has done it, knows the performance change, if the fuel tanks are in the main spar area [inboard] what the fuel usage characteristics are (can you suck it all up?), or should I just build per plan and give up making the KR something it was never designed to do?
