Netters,

For those of you who have ever water skied on a river or lake, first thing in
the morning, with the water glass smooth, you will be able to relate. I got up
early today (ok early for me). I went to the airport and fired up snakebite. I
had to wait for the oil temp to come up, but was off the ground within 10
minutes of start up. I flew over to my house and did some low passes for my
wife, about 40-50 ft AGL. I went out over the desert and did some great low
and slower flight, 120 mph. I was looking for coyotes and horses. I found
several coyotes but was not in the right area for the horses. I flew for about
45 minutes at 1000AGL and then decided to go up to 2500 AGL. There was a
little haze at 2000ft but as soon as I was above that the air was unreal. I
flew for another 45 minutes at that altitude and was amazed. I have dreamed
about being in air like this, it had nothing to do with speed or even air temp.
It was sooooo smooooooooth that it felt like I was part of the plane. Like I
said for those of you that have been on water like that or skiied on fresh
snow,, you can relate to the feeling that I was having.
yyyyyyyyyyeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeehhhhhhhhhhhhhhhaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa
