Most aircraft metal suppliers get their metal from Dillsburg in Dillsburg, PA. Their number is 717-384-5865. Unfortunately, if Spruce and Wicks both don't have it it is probably because Dillsburg no longer carries it. You can at least give them a shot though and see if they have any left. Their prices are very good, but they have cutting charges so for anything less than full sticks you are better off getting it from Spruce or Wicks when you can.
I have also heard good things about Yarde Metals at http://www.yarde.com/. They are popular with the RV builders. Be leary of any metal you get from Home Depot or Lowes if you plan on doing anythng structural with it. I am not 100% sure what alloy they carry, but it is pretty bright and corrosion resistant which means it is most likely a weaker alloy than 6061. Their steel is also definitely not 4130 and is most likely just a low carbon steel. In general, the higher the tensile strength of aluminum, the less corrosion resistant it is. There are a ton of online metal suppliers that sell in small quantities. Some that come to mind are Onlinemetals and Small Parts. You can find lots of listings in the home machine shop news groups and web pages. http://www.sherline.com/online.htm is one good source for links. I need some and can't find it on their sites. ++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++ I'd give Wick's a call and ask why they don't carry it any more and who their supplier was. It's worth a shot and the phone call is free if you use the 800 #.
