KRnetHeads, Over the years folks have suggested that this email list go to a forum type of web-based system rather than email based. Pete Diffey has set up such as system on Bob Lee's server and several folks have been beta testing it for a few weeks. No decision has been made on whether or not the list will actually move to it, but we're ready for more folks to give it a test drive. Please visit http://www.kr2forum.com/phpBB2/index.php and register by clicking on the little blue "Register" link toward the upper right of the page. Both username and password are case sensitive (capital letters matter), so write it down and don't forget it. Once you're in, you can check a box that will log you in automatically every time you visit. It will be real painful to try to fix the accounts of a bunch of people who mess this up. There can only be one login per email address, so be careful about that as well. If you mess up the login, you can't get another one until the admin deletes the old one with your address attached to it. Just pay attention and you'll be fine. There's also a link at the top of the page at www.krnet.org .
Once registered, another teeny blue link on the first screen allows you to check a box that will show you any posts since the last time you visited. There are several other little nuances that you'll discover. The jury is still out, but we'll probably have a "poll" on the forum in 2-3 weeks and see what the consensus is, although I reserve the right to make the final decision. But if you don't register and use the system, you can't vote, so let's get on with it. Thanks to Pete and Bob for all the help on this...
