Dave, I added 14 inches to the length of mine by cutting the boat about 2 ft in front of the tail section half way between a couple of upright members. All cuts, plywood and logerons were cut on a 1-12 ratio. I added an extra logeron under the top logerons "about 28 inches long" and above the bottom logerons then added the extra upright members then added the extra 14 inch plywood sections back with ends cut on a 12-1 ratio. I also put two strips of 3/32 plywood over the plywood joints on the inside skin. I didn't have the bottom skin on at the time so it made it easier to do. When you do something like this it creates other changes. Prior to build back I had to cut out the horz cross members top and bottom back to the rear spar to accommodate for the extra taper of the boat after pulling the tail section backward 14 inches.
