This is am e-mail from one of the parking officials at AirVenture. He is a member of the local EAA Chapter 18 that I too am a member of. It looks like we will have some inside help on parking this year if this thing goes over. So far, I have 13 pilots saying they will do everything possible to be there.

My dad, Ken Whyte is the Chairman of the Homebuilt Parking area, but Jeff Point, Bob Lang, Erik Anderson, myself, also help out. One other thing you might be interested in is the AirVenture Cup Race is starting a special class for 2007 called the Sprint-Sportsman for VW and Corvair powered airplanes like the Sonerai and KR series.
