Today I went to the airport to pay my hangar rent, as I have to do at least once a month, and to buy a sectional, cause now I need one, and to put in my new PAI-700 Vertical Card Compass. Took out the old Airpath, which did show much closer to the correct direction after I removed it from near those cheap engine monitoring instruments. I put the PAI in a spot that is a little farther away from them, in the hole where the O2 sensor gauge was, and it is right on, with no adjustment. Way cool, I love this neat little instrument.
The thing was, that, while being at the airport today for the first time since I flew on Sunday, I had a different feeling about being there. I felt more like I belonged there, instead of just a guest or someone visiting or coming to use a hangar for a shop. It was a strange feeling, but real good. What does this have to do with building a KR, heck, I don't know. Just finish yours and find out what it feels like.
