I'm in the lurking stage considering a KR-2S. I am thinking about jump starting it with an existing boat (and whatever else comes with it) but all of the ones that I have found available for sale so far are KR-2's instead of the KR-2S. I weight in at 210 at 5' 10", I'm not so big that I need the extra room but I'm thinking that I do need the extra useful load, especially if I want to take someone else up and still be able to put a few gallons of gas it her (i've seen references that the useful load betweeen the KR2 and the S is 420 vs. 460).
