Hello all my Name is Jon Dawson, live in Indianapolis Indiana. I'm building a vair powered KR2, I bought a plane that needs the outer wings built along with the canopy. The turtle deck has been formed but needs finishing. So far the craft looks to be built to plans ( with the 1981 revisions) controls are "in" along with stub wing tanks.
I plan to convert it to a trike though, and I know I'll lose the stub tanks (or at least a great deal of their capacity). I was wondering if anyone has a cowl that they would like to sell or perhaps a mold that I could barrow? Also I'm in the process of building my corvair engine mount (using Will's design, yes I bought the book). I would like some help fabricating my own nose gear and I would also appreciate any help in fabricating my own main gear mounts and fiberglass legs (just the dimensions and geometry). But right now, getting the canopy and engine mount done are my 2 goals. If anyone has trike main gear legs for sale I'm interested (as I also have the original retracts in perfect order for anyone who may be interested.
