Gathering attendees,
Bob Lee has just updated the www.krgathering.org site with the information for the Gathering schedule. Check it out. I'm trying to find a good balance between sharing information in the conference room with forums and letting the "drool glands" work to max capacity on the ramp with the flying KR's. As the info on the site suggest, we may change the forum times depending on weather and winds. We will try to hold the forum during the least favorable flying times. I'm guessing the best flying time will be mornings but hey, I was wrong one other time but it was so long ago I don't recall what it was. :-) One other thought I'll throw out this one time and then not again. Chris Collins, the airport manager, and the community of Mt.Vernon, would like to see the KR Gathering return to MVN every year. That decision will be made by those attending the Gathering and voted on Saturday night at the banquet. If you would like to host the Gathering at another location, have your pitch ready. Chris and company will not be shy about inviting you back to Mt.Vernon. That basically is all I have to say on the matter. I am but one voice among many and my vote counts for no more than anyone else. Larry Flesner
