Hi Guys, In 1998 I had a 2L VW Transporter which was running with 20w-50. I added Prolong to the engine and found it to run much smoother. One day, in the middle of no-ware, The no. 2 hydraulic lifter shot through the engine case. The hole was big enough to fit 3 fingers. After 3 hours and no help, I started the engine and drove 63km to the nearest town, over a mountain which has the highest road in South Africa. The heat guage was off the chart, but she still ran smooth. The next morning she started with the first turn of the key and I drove her to the garage. The engine had to be replaced completely. Wouldn't it be a good idea to run Prolong in a aeroplane engine? Regards, Jaco Swanepoel Pretoria South Africa KR2S, ZU-DVP
