A couple weeks ago my wife went to the beach and I went flying so I just had to do three 200 MPH passes a few hundred feet off the beach. Everyone on the beach stopped and pointed and waved, but my wife never saw me. Probably tanning her back with her eyes closed.
I need to put in an amplifier and a big speaker to make loud engine sounds. Now that I have the prop repitched correctly I have to descend to flyby level at near idle then keep it at about a third throttle to keep it under 200. It just doesn't make enough noise to get attention. Man that was fun! Landed just about dark, and when I got home my wife said "very impressive flyby dear!". My daughter had some friends over, and they were all out in the yard at the time, so now I'm on the hook for three rides.
