Of course it can. Have you seen the KR-360. It was at the Red Oak KR Gathering in 2002 as shown here http://home.hiwaay.net/~langford/redoak2002/ about 2/3rds of the way down the page. Of course, is that really a KR since it deviated from the plans. But then, are any of our KR's really KR's. No, they are a derivative of the original KR design. That is the beauty of this plane, you can make it whatever you want. But, if the question is: will the original KR design fit my needs? No it will not and Virg is correct.
