So I have decided to build an airplane. I have always liked the KR, ever since I was a kid reading GliderRider. I have been a VW guy as long as I'm alive. Here's my problem-I'm 6'3" 280#. I have seen a 2S for sale (I think on EBAY) that was listed as having a 48" wide cabin! Is that possible? If so what would the trade-offs be as far as the speed and such? I need to haul me, my wife (130 lbs), 35 lbs. of baggage, and enough fuel to cruise 3 hours. I need to be able to cruise at least 140 ( 175 would be better). And I would like to at least be as comfortable as I am in a 172. Can this be done? My other choice is a GP-4. Thanks in advance for the input.-Dave
P.S. I'm near the Twin Cities,MN. Anyone near by I could sit in? I'm actually 3 Mi from ANE, right accross the steet from the Seaplane Base on Rice Lake.
