Thanks to all for some helpful advice on dual throttle controls, KR list is
great. We moved N26LT from the shop to the hangar this week, it's on its
new legs (but without engine weight, it is sitting on the tail skid and the
new nosewheel is a foot in the air).

Moving along now from gear re-fit to remount engine. Carb purchase to
replace Posa next, my current leaning is to RevFlow, in part to keep
side-draft setup. Any strong opinions between RevFlow and AeroCarb? What
diameter throat on a RevFlow for an 1834cc VW?

A solid rod connecting two levers, then to the throttle ?? Virg

I'd suggest you have a friction lock / control on the pilot side only and
have the other side as friction free as possible. You wouldn't want the
co-pilot to set his friction lock and then when the pilot takes over control
, wonder why he can't move the throttle.

A/C Spruce has a handy device in their catalog that allows you to connect 2
throttles to it for one output. They even have a picture. It does not look
all that complex.
