Subject: KR> Scott Crossfield
In 1962 as I was just starting to fly gliders in Tehahcapi. I met both Crossfield & Walker. Boy was I excited to meet them. They came up to Tehachapi to do some training in gliders. And this was the place to do that west of the Rockies. I was hoping to be able to fly with one of them. But that never happened. But they both told me many stories of their flying experiences. I was hoping to follow in their foot steps until I flunked the physical for the armed services. Oh well. He will be missed, as is Walker. Greg Martin
