The AN070 washer goes on the securing bolt after the rodend and is
located between the rodend and the locking nut.  If the bearing
assembly fails, as in it comes out of the housing, The housing is
captured by the washer.  If the same failure occurs without the AN970
washer, the housing with the pushrod attached will slip right over the
securing nut.  Check it out on the "Little Beast" and it will become
perfectly clear.
