I guess the problem I see with that is that more than likely you can't cut it with scissors, and even if you can, how to you fasten it to your GPS screen, short of taping it? Spray adhesive is fairly opaque. The stuff I bought is thin and designed to be used with a touch screen, and you really can't tell it's there, other than the glare is gone. I'm happy with what I have, but you're welcome to try out the Staples option and let us know how it goes.
