Hi Netters,

I am using a Ray Allen trim system with the LED-position indicator.
Yesterday during testing I discovered that when pressing the radio
transmit button the LED indicator indicates maximum travel and the LED
lights very weak.
Ray Allen says that the LED indicator is sensitive to RF power and it
could possibly be dammaged.
They advise to increase the distance between the trim cable and the
antenna.

My COM-antenna is located in the middle of my rear turttle deck and my
trim cable runs along the top longeron. The smallest distance between
the antenna and the trim cable is aprox. 10".
I have no chance to increase this distance. Today I tried to shield
part of the trim cable with aluminium foil (grounded). This improved
the situation only just a little bit.

Did any of you guys encounterd the same problem ? If yes, how did you
solve it ?
