I USED to have one, built out of mahogony, but I loaned it out to another KR builder and never saw it again! You can make one out of a block of wood that'll work fine. There are a couple of photos of it a few pictures down at http://home.hiwaay.net/~langford/owings.html . Thick aluminum would work too. Even the mahagony piece worked great. I used mahogony because it's fine grained and stable, and because I had a chunk left over from making Christmas clocks one year...
