I'd like to take credit but that was not me. Mark Langford maybe? I wasn't aware there was a problem as I made my own brackets before Dan Diehl came out with his improved lower fittings. I didn't like the looks of the original lower fittings so I made mine just like Dan came out with only I used 2 inch wide stock instead of 2 1/2 inch, or whatever his is, so I didn't have a problem.
