I have a few transponders left. Stop by and we can have some fun in my new
PA-16.

Incidently, for those of you that have not read the crash report on Bill's
old KR (not him, the guy he sold it to crashed it) it is an interresting
read. It happened at the airport that I keep my air force at. A friend of
mine was invited on the scene by the FAA since he was building a KR and was
the closest "KR expert" they could find at the time. He said it was
basically a burned spot in the grass in the shape of a KR.

Apparently it was the guys first flight in the plane and he had an
instructor with him with no KR experience and they were overweight and out
of C.G. Both of them refused to give any statements to the feds. A good
lesson in what not to do. Don't have the link right now, but will get it if
someone else does not post it first. my connection is a little slow now.

Hey Brian - where are you staying? Ive got my plane parked at the airport
at HILO international and will be flying up to the big island in a day or
two. Its been a long trip. The new wings with extended tanks worked great
but
the butt gets real sore after all those hours over water. Im glad I put
the
new crank in - lots more confidence....and if you believe this story have I
got a bridge for you!
Hope all is well - do you stil have that transponder and when will you
be back?

Bill
