KR> KR1 Trigear in Kansas

Greetings,
New to the list, was looking at the most recent Trade-a-Plane and noticed an 
ad for two Trigear KR1's for sale. Does anyone know anything about these 
aircraft? I'm also curious about the CG with the tri-gear, as the pictures 
make the cockpit look like it is pretty far back...?
