Be careful---Revmaster only wants 3200 rpms in cruise, don't blow it.

Lee;

I have a 1835 VW that is turbo charged. I found that for over all good
performance, a 52 X 47 prop works pretty well. I get a pretty consistant
160 - 165 mph speeds at about 5.5 gph.

I am using an Amyer-Demuth prop. I can turn this prop at about 3600 rpm and
33 inches. I also have the original retracts and the standard Kr-2 not
stretched. Hope this helps. Oh, I also have a 50 X 42 prop that I used to
fly off the 40 hours, it was much better for climb and burning off the
required hours prior to long cross countries. I was able to turn that one
all the way to 4000 rpm, but I didn't do that much. The max speed using it
was about 140 mph.
