Netters I spent most of the afternoon at Corvair College 9 Friday, and was unable to attend Saturday or Sunday due to work. Although all I got was a wave and head nod from WW, and a quick thank you for the parts I brought to Kevin, I am spoiled being already here in Florida. I can drive over anytime I choose to Edgewater and pick Kevin's, William's, or Gus' brains for answers if needed. They have never told me no in the 5 or 6 times I have visited the hangar, most times un-announced. My only complaint is that I now have to wait in line because they have gotten busy! And unlike this Bob character that got out of line, and then voiced a negative opinion online, I have spent over $3000 dollars with WW and happy with every penny I have spent. I have nearly a running engine, and I know it will perform as advertised.
Instead of trying to dominate any of the hangar gangs' time, I tried to be of service to other builders or pilots, as did Bill Clapp, and several other people I saw whom I did not know. Not because I am some kind of patriarch, but because I LOVE flying and will help ANYONE who is trying to learn or further themselves as a pilot. I talked to several pilots asking about the ways to fly a KR, and about flying in general. Talked long to Glenda about being a CFI (good luck on the ride), since I am now a 4 year working on a 5 year CFI, and still love teaching it. Talked to several engine builders about things I had learned while building that made things easier, or work better. Point is, give back to Aviation and it never quits giving to you. Congrats Dan & Jerry!!!!! Still may be there before you are here... Colin Rainey brokerpilot9...@earthlink.net EarthLink Revolves Around You.
