Yes, we weighed the fuel before putting it in and of course weighed the empty tanks and the numbers are correct.
Thanks, do you think the CG came out OK, or is it too far forward? See N64KR at http://KRBuilder.org - Then click on the pics See you in Mt. I did notice that you weighed it with 45 pounds of fuel according to the spreadsheet which is fine. Just want to be sure that you did not actually fill the tank because that would mean the number were wrong. All the numbers check out and while the plane is a little on the heavy side, I think it is going to be a very stable aircraft to fly and that it will definitely be able to carry passengers. In fact, to me, it came out so good that we may want to consider adding a baggage compartment sometime in the future. However, I will need to take some measurements and run some numbers first. If you choose to look at the spread sheet, you will see that we weighed 3 different people. This was done to get an average station for "people". You will notice that each station varies and of course, that is because people come in all different shapes and sizes. If you want to play with the sheet, the numbers in yellow are the ones to change. You will see a number on the lower right corner of the sheet that is the "CG". This number runs from zero to 6, if you are in the allowable CG range. You can see it at: http://krbuilder.org/WeightAndBalance/index.html If you do look at the spread sheet and see anything that does not look right please let me know.
