Or, not. Today, I took half day off and went out to see what I could do
about this problem. I have been thinking it over a lot and paying attention
to all the input, for which I thank you. I decided to dam up the back of the
pan under the engine to make that area into a sort of plenum. That was the
quickest and easiest thing that I could think of, as it only took two small
pieces of aluminum bent at a 90 degree angle and bolted on using the
existing bolts that hold the pan on at the aft end. Well, it worked. No more
running rich, so now to design a more permanent fix and implement it. The
thing that I don't like about this solution is that I loose the cooling for
under the engine on the oil sump.

While running the engine, I was able to get a steady 3200 RPM static. I don
t know if that is good, bad, or indifferent, but from what I remember of my
other KR, I think it is good. 

Now on to other challenges like "where is all this oil coming from". It
seems to be ooooozing out from everywhere.
