I'll second what Mark said. I had a fully mechanical trim system installed
but I couldn't seem to get the slop out of the trim tab. I was concerned
that it may cause flutter and rip off in flight. I totally removed
it and installed
the MAC (now Ray Allen) system and it works great. I have zero slop
in the trim tab now. My indicator quit working after about 10 hours of flight
but I never bothered to send it back for repair. I never really paid much
attention to it anyway.
