It worked for the last pilot, he used it (pre-GPS) Indiana - Florida and back. I've never used LORAN in my life, just want to know if in a plane that doesn't have VOR, maybe a (working) LORAN deserves panel space & weight. Back-up for when the GPS fails? Rich
