Go with the stock 2s and widen it a bit if necessary. Use the new airfoil, fixed gear, build the canopy for the head room you need, and good luck on the 640 pounds !! At 650 pounds, look for 160 to 170 mph cruise with 100+ hp. What size pilot and passanger are you looking to stuff into the KR? Settle for 500 mile range. You're not going to want to set in it more than 3 hours anyway. Remember, you're building a 650 pound airplane with 100 hp. If you need more performance than mentioned above, you'd best look at another design. Expect too much and you'll be disappointed. Set some realistic goals and grin every time you go flying.
