Don,
I can say that I have the AS5046 with the AS Stabilizer set at -.75? as
per the drawings. I rarely and I mean rarely ever find it necessary to
trim the elevator in cruise. If I want true hands off flying, which I
have done for a five minute period on an extremely calm day at cruise,
my elevator requires about 1/16" of up trim deflection. Otherwise, I
make sure the trim is neutral on take off and never touch it. I would
have to say the -.75? is perfect.

I've been loosly following Jeff Scott's narrative about his h/s
modification
and have built a stab. elevator combo from TET AS5046 drawings that
establish the level line to give the stab. a -- .75 degree incidence.
I'm wondering what is the ideal or are the numbers still out on that
one
