So, when will you be installing the 0200? 

It would be nice is someone would come up with a complete FWF package,
including the carb, for a decent price.

Continental still makes
and sells the 0-200 and always has!  I thought it was no longer produced,
and I got that impression from others, so it must be a common misconception.
Now there's even an LSA (light sport aircraft) version that's even cheaper
than the certified version, but stripped down so you can put your own
alternator, carb, exhaust, or whatever on it.  Right now they are working on
a version that is somewhere under $15k, with all new parts. I talked to the
project engineer, and he's been looking into electronic igntions for the
thing, as well as cheaper carbs and even electronic fuel injection from
folks like SMS.  I spent all day yesterday sitting around the table with the
president, chief engineer, crank expert, metallurgist, and several other
guys.  And yes, I did some more crank failure brain pickin' while I was
there, and got a little smarter...
