H Netter. Sport Aviation had a suggestion, a long time ago about carburetor fires. They suggested a Halon fire extinguisher in the cockpit area be plumbed with a hose into the engine compartment and be delivered into the throat of the air supply into the carburetor. It would be a good idea to have a sensor that would detect a fire and light up a bright red light in the instrument panel. I already have my Halon extinguisher but can anyone suggest a fire detection system? Regards Harold Woods Orillia,ON. Can.
