That's a pretty good tip!  I wouldn't have thought of it until you mentioned
it, but all that air pressure represents a lot of potential energy stored
up.  When that thing came out of there it would have some serious energy
traveling with it!  The grease gun method means it would just fall out on
the floor.  Excellent idea.  The tricks these folks know that we'd never
dream up is the reason this forum is such a great place to exchange
information.
