Floyd Neff of Monroe, Iowa built and still has a KR-1 with a corvair engine
and a self designed/built PSRU. He flew it for almost 200 hour until he
decided he was getting just a little to old for the hot rod. It has been
reported that he did a 225 mph+++ high speed pass over the Knoxville runway.
It was also reported that he has no aft CG problems but forward CG is
another matter.

Floyd was the tech counsler of the local EAA chapter and a tool and die
maker. If anyone would like to contact Floyd, email me off net.
