My 40 litre fuel tank is a draw back given I live in north Queensland,
Australia and Avgas can be some distance away when doing trips.
(Take into account I'm registered as an ultralite and cannot land at most
controlled airports)

I'm thinking of building fibreglass fuel tanks into my wing stubs working from
the sides, not cutting the existing wing skins but laying up from the inside
against the foam.
(the finish on the wing stub has good shape, though the paint job is a little
bit rough)

This will probably involve turning the aircraft on it's side (I have the shed
space, lifting equipment and the scaffold to do it.)

Any comments welcome
