I don't know if the 175 is still being made, but take a look on Ebay. Also
I would give a serious look at the Miller Econo tig. I never was
successfull in finding any good deals on either one used on Ebay, but there
is a heaping bunch of web stores on ebay that sell both Miller and Lincoln
new welders at good prices.

If you are going to Sun and Fun you should also look there. Both Miller and
Lincoln have booths set up every year and they have some really good show
deals. They will usually give you a great deal and ship it free also if you
are not driving. I almost bought an Econotig last year and will probably
get one this year. I assume that they do the same thing at Oshkosh if you
don't go to SNF. One of the big advantages at the shows is that you can
bounce back and forth between the two and figure out which one is better for
you.

Subject: KR> Tig welder

I have been considering buying a Tig welder and was looking for a Lincoln
175 square wave, but can't find one listed anywhere. Is this still being
made or has it been replaced by the 185? The 185 looks big and was listed as
weighing 220 lbs. Is the 175 about the same size? Can someone suggest a
smaller less expensive unit? Mosty of my welding will be light materials
like used on KRs.
