Props are measured by inches. A 54-50  means in perfect fluid conditions 
that prop will go 50 inches in 1 revolution. Some prop manufactures use 
degrees so that you can set the prop on site. If you talk to Edd he will 
explain it. The reason different props perfume differently in the air is 
there design. This includes boat prop.
