Since I have to build one outboard wing on the new KR I got I was thinking about trying that. I thought that maybe a 1/8" plywood fence between the two sections would keep the airflows from interferring with each other. I was also considering just taking the glass of the stubs and redoing them.
One thing that I figured would be a problem would be the rear attach fittings not lining up when the outboard panels are set at the correct incidence. Anyway, it was just a few thoughts that came into my head a few days ago and I would also be very interrested in hearing if it has been done before. Meaning the outer panel starts at the WAF as an RAF48 and ends at the tip as the new wing section.
