I wouldn't do it with my butt in the plane, and my butt will be in your plane when you get your hours flown off, so I do not recommend it. I have asked the VW Guru (Steve Bennett) about this also and IIRC he said no also. Something other than a wood prop may not break the crank at the nose with the Force 1 hub, but I have heard of cranks snapping between the #2 and #3 journals before.
