Schedule it early and do it when you choose. Don't wait until the time is past. Fly to someone like Orma, before it is due so time for corrections is possible, have it done. The time table doesn't start counting until the pink slip is issued. Big deal you give up a month or several weeks. It happened when you planned it not when the date arrived, kinda like an oil change....
